Got it

The road between Eyeries and Allihies must rank as one of the most spectacular stretches of coast road on the planet. Check out this great video on YouTube if you don't believe me.

The high point, literally and metaphorically is the pass near Ballaghacahreen with fine views in both directions.

Below this is the little quay at Cummeen. A picturesque spot with a bit of a Cornish feel to it.

Once you get beyond Allihies and head down towards Billeragh and Dursey Island, the countryside begins to feel very remote. Given that the rest of the Beara Peninsula could hardly be described as a teeming metropolis, this is quite a clever trick.

Dursey Cable Car

Location

Cork Map

Dursey Cable Car is the only cable car in Ireland and the only one in the world that goes over open water.

It runs over Dursey Sound where strong tides make travelling by boat hazardous, and is frequently used to transport livestock as well as people.

Killaugh Wedge Grave

Location

Cork Map

The Killaugh Wedge Grave is well signposted off the main road and is in the middle of a large field with easy access.

It is a neat little grave and seemingly in a good state of preservation.
