A pleasant circular walk through varied countryside. Apart from one particularly muddy bit where the cows congregate around the gate at the bottom of the hill where the path starts to climb back up the hill, it is generally easy going. There is limited parking in the lay-by by the water pumping station in Chalbury.

If you are feeling energetic it would be possibly include a there and back stretch to Horton, and take in the odd little Horton Church as well.
