It is a pleasant walk of just over a kilometre (2/3rds of a mile) along a tree-lined track from the car park at New Mill Farm Stables down to the remote predominantly rocky beach.
Apparently at low tide there are golden sands, but when we visited, there was little to do other than take in the views. There are no facilities.
The path, which follows the Nash Brook, passes the one remaining wall of ruins of the Blaen-y-cwm Corn Mill.
