Location
Tucked away behind Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), or so it seems when you approach from the Llanberis direction, Llyn Gwynant is a stunningly beautiful spot.
There is a pleasant there and back walk along the northern and western sides of the lake, through the relatively discreet campsite, and past some interesting rocks (for those that find rocks interesting).
Unfortunately the presence of the A498 main road along the south-east shore rather rules out a complete circumnavigation.
